Deer-Grove EMS Training Center
Deer-Grove EMS is committed to providing the very best medical care and prevention services to enhance the quality of life of the residents and visitors within our district…and you can help!
The American Heart Association estimates that each year, more than 330,000 people across the United States die from coronary heart disease before reaching a hospital or while in an emergency room. Most of those deaths result from sudden cardiac arrest. When the arrest occurs outside a hospital setting, most victims die because CPR and defibrillation were not provided soon enough.
Often the survivability of a cardiac arrest victim is dependent on quick bystander intervention.
The Deer-Grove EMS District currently offers American Heart Association courses through our Public Education Program. The following courses are currently available:
CPR for Friends & Family
Heartsaver CPR & AED
First Aid
Pediatric First Aid
Healthcare Provider CPR
